This position is part of the establishment of a brandnew platforms team within the engineering organization. Expect to collaborate very closely with engineering leadership and numerous other engineering teams throughout our tech organization to build out new systems. The ideal candidate will not only lead the development of robust backend solutions but will also contribute significantly to the creation of intuitive and responsive frontend interfaces that enhance user experience and drive customer engagement.
This position sits onsite in Grapevine TX 5 days per week.
What youll do:
Architect design and build critical backend systems such as payments and transaction technologies as well as intuitive frontend interfaces
Work with a modern technology stack encompassing both frontend and backend technologies (cloud infrastructure Kubernetes serviceoriented architecture etc)
Be an advocate for engineering best practices across both frontend and backend development
What youll bring:
8 years of software development experience with at least 3 years of experience working with cloud technologies (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud)
7 years of experience with Python
Experience architecting and developing intuitive frontend interfaces using React and Redux
Proven progression from Software Engineer to technical leadership roles demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility and impact
Demonstrated ownership of major technical projects from conception to delivery showcasing your ability to lead and drive results
Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems showcasing your analytical skills and creativity in overcoming challenges
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and communicate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders
