Job Description
Virginia Western Community College is a twoyear public institution of higher education operating under the Virginia Community College System a statewide system of community colleges. The College operates under the policies established by the State Board for Community Colleges and the Virginia Western Community College Local Advisory Board. Virginia Western is located on a 70acre campus in southwest Roanoke VA. The service region of the College includes Roanoke Salem Roanoke County Craig County Franklin County and southern Botetourt County. The College was established in 1966 and has grown from an initial enrollment of 1352 to its current annual enrollment of over 9000 students in credit courses and more than 1400 enrollments in fasttrack workforce and continuing education courses Virginia Western located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains of the Roanoke Valley is accepting applications for dynamic adultlearning oriented exceptional parttime Corporate & Professional Training Adjunct Faculty in the School of Career & Corporate Training CCT to design develop and implement innovative cuttingedge customized corporate and professional training programs for our diverse clients who are positioned in a crosssectioning of the economic landscape we serve.
Work Schedule
Varies based on needs of the corporate client. Instructional delivery can be online on campus or at the corporate clients site. Adjunct instructors for corporate and professional training are appointed on an asneeded basis contractbycontract.
