Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical systems.
- Analyze and interpret blueprints schematics and technical drawings.
- Prepare inchdiameter sheets weld maps and hookup drawings.
- Perform necessary verifications as per checklists to ensure accuracy.
- Make suitable notes and comments on drawings to ensure clarity and completeness.
- Utilize 2D and 3D software (Autodesk Inventor or equivalent) for modelling and drawing preparation.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including project managers and quality assurance to meet project deadlines and objectives.
- Understand and adhere to customer specifications and project requirements ensuring the delivery of highquality products.
- Experience or knowledge of piping layout arrangement is essential.
- Knowledge of industry standards like API ASME and ANSI.
- Basic knowledge of piping commodities such as flanges fittings and pipes.
- Collaborate with engineers and other drafters to ensure accuracy and precision in all drawings.
- Be a proactive team player who can work independently when required.
Skill Sets/Experience We Require:
- Software Inventor and SolidWorks
- Indepth knowledge of Inventor and SolidWorks
- Knowledge in 3D modelling. Part and Assembly for packing equipment
- Library creation for pipes flanges standard components
- Should know material property assign an activity in Part and assembly
- Should know 3D to 2D extraction and drafting of the same
- Standard template creation
Qualifications:
- ITI Mechanical Draughtsman or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in Inventor SolidWorks AutoCAD 3D model and 2D drawing preparation.
- Familiarity with industry standards (API ASME ANSI) and piping layout arrangements is preferred.
