Job Description

Description:

A company of medical technology with millions of TechMed products is looking for a Manufacturing Technician. The ideal candidate will have experience in electronic pneumatic hydraulic and mechanical equipment. The Manufacturing Technician will be responsible for the setup and maintenance of all equipment used in the production processes. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the setup and maintenance of all electrical pneumatic hydraulic and mechanical systems on equipment used in production.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on assigned production equipment according to the PM Program or as needed to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist the Engineering team with the installation troubleshooting and startup of new production equipment.
  • Maintain detailed equipment logs for assigned machinery documenting downtime and maintenance issues. Keep records of all process changes.
  • Work with Engineering to ensure vision systems are maintained and adjusted within the specified parameters.
  • Lead efforts to ensure adherence to all safety environmental procedures and Quality System Requirements (QSR).
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to monitor and enhance processes for better output and reduced waste.
  • Provide guidance to fellow team members in troubleshooting production equipment and resolving process performance issues.
  • Coordinate and support other maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor or as necessary to support the business.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Vocational/Technical School education (specific classes listed below) or an Associates Degree in Industrial Electronics or a related field (preferred).
  • Demonstrated understanding of electricity and circuitry.
  • Ability to identify basic hydraulic components on hydraulic diagrams.
  • Basic knowledge of PLC systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems (preferred).
  • Relevant fields include: Electrical/Electronics Technician Electromechanical Technician Mechanical Engineering Technician Industrial Programmer Electrician.

    IMT 163 Problem Solving for Mechanical Applications
    EEM 118 AC/DC Circuits 2
    EEM 117 AC/DC Circuits 1

    EEM 252 Programmable Controller Applications
