You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailVisas Technology Organization The Visa Payment Products Sales Client Services Experience team develops and supports platforms which are used by our business partners to service our Visa clients worldwide on a 24 by 7 basis. The Staff Software Engineer position within the team is an individual contributor role based in our Austin USA office. The successful candidate is expected to be a AEM and Java subject matter expert within the Visa Access team. The selected candidate will be fully responsible for developing and maintaining services using full stack technologies.

The Work itself:
Design code and systems that touch 40 of the world population while influencing Visas internal standards for scalability security and reusability
Collaborate multifunctionally to create design artifacts and develop bestinclass software solutions for multiple Visa technical offerings
Actively contribute to product quality improvements valuable service technology and new business flows in diverse agile squads
Develop robust and scalable products intended for a myriad of customers including enduser merchants b2b and business to government solutions.
Leverage innovative technologies to build the next generation of Payment Services Transaction Platforms RealTime Payments and Buy Now Pay Later Technology

Essential Functions:
Demonstrates relevant technical working knowledge to understand requirements.
Identifies and contributes to the development and solution strategies to team members that improve the design and functionality of interface features across one or more project features under minimal guidance.
Applies standard processes on the use of programming languages (e.g. AEM Java) to write code that fulfills website modification requests and technical requirements.
Collaborates with others to support the piloting of new technology capabilities and features that enhance the user website experience across ecommerce products.
Analyzes bugs for simple issues and applies debugging tools to verify assumptions.

Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
5 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2
years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD
MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD OR 8 years of relevant work
experience.
Preferred Qualifications
6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years
of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD)
or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
5 years AEM Development: Deep understanding of AEM architecture
including authoring publishing and dispatcher configurations.
6 years Java: Strong proficiency in Java programming as AEM runs on a
Javabased platform.
Frontend Technologies: Proficiency in HTML CSS JavaScript and popular
frontend frameworks/libraries (e.g. React Angular ).
Integration: Experience with integrating AEM with other systems and thirdparty
services (e.g. RESTful APIs SOAP OAuth SAML).
Workflows: Knowledge of creating and managing AEM workflows for content
approval processes.
Build Tools: Familiarity with build and dependency management tools like
Maven and Jenkins.
Testing: Experience in unit testing using Junit.
Content Management: Deep understanding of content management principles
and best practices.
Solution Design: Ability to design scalable maintainable and performant AEM
solutions.
Component Development: Expertise in developing reusable AEM components
templates and services.
Security: Understanding of AEM security best practices including user
authentication and authorization.
Performance Optimization: Skills in optimizing AEM for performance including
caching strategies and efficient use of resources.
ProblemSolving: Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities to address
complex technical challenges.
Collaboration: Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively
with crossfunctional teams.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate
technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 510 of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 124700.00 to 180650.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on jobrelated factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
