Job Description

We tackle the toughest security and technology challenges by developing and delivering missioncritical products and systems for our customers. We delivery Tactical Communication Information Systems (CIS) to Land Forces around the world through Vehicle Prime Contractors for fighting and support vehicles.  The hardware software and systems integration that our engineers deliver on a daily basis ensure soldiers are never alone and always aware. From headquarters to vehicles to the individual soldier your work helps them accomplish their mission while keeping them safe.

We are seeking a skilled System Engineering Analyst to join our International TacCIS division at our Calgary location. The successful candidate will contribute to multiple international programs by designing implementing and delivering a CIS solutions. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze system design and vendor documentation
  • Develop and document system designs use cases and system interfaces
  • Maintain requirements and specifications
  • Investigate system defects and raise problem reports
  • Support Software Development System Integration and ILS teams on achieving their deliveries

Qualifications :

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in system engineering with broad experience in the implementation integration and qualification ideally in the delivery of land tactical C4S systems
  • Proven ability to have a disciplined approach to system engineering with knowledge of full system life cycle
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment with minimum supervision
  • Flexibility to shift between multiple programs in different stages from initiation to support
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Canadian Security Clearance and a positive Controlled Goods Assessment. Eligibility to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Must meet COMSEC level security screening requirements
  • Applicants may be required to meet additional security requirements in order to gain access to technical data classified areas or information that is subject to international regulations.

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Software Engineering; Computer Science; or a related technical/engineering degree.
