Learning and Development Specialist

Toronto Ontario Canada Hybrid

Our inhouse design departments include Architecture Interior Design and Experiential Graphic Design. In addition we have a Digital Practice Department who commits to the implementation of BIM research development and the infusion of cuttingedge technology into our projects and practice.

WhoAreWeLookingFor

As the Learning and Development Specialist you support individual and studiowide growth by contributing to the development and of impactful learning programs. You assist in delivering engaging initiatives grounded in adult learning principles and educational theory. You enhance our collective expertise and reinforce the studios commitment to continuous improvement contributing significantly to the success of our learning and development initiatives.

WhatYouWillDo

  • Support the design development and successful implementation of the Studios Academy and other learning initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Manager Learning and Development leadership and stakeholders to align learning efforts with Studios vision and business objectives.
  • Provide project management and effective implementation of workflows and policies related to learning programs.
  • Plan facilitate and execute the studiowide events to launch learning initiatives.
  • Design develop and deliver Learning and Development onboarding training for new Studio Members.
  • Conduct needs assessments using various methods (interviews surveys groups discussions forms) to support alignment of educational initiatives with the identified needs.
  • Support the creation of new and maintenance of existing content for the Studios learning community on the intranet.
  • Support internal and external instructors to develop and deliver learning material.
  • Design and analyze program evaluation reports to continuously evolve Learning and Development programs and initiatives.

WhatYouWillBring

  • Graduate Degree or a Graduate Certificate in Education Adult Learning or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience developing and executing learning and development programs using adult learning principles within a corporate or professional setting.
  • Proficiency in instructional design adult learning principles and program evaluation methods.
  • Skilled in project management and time management.
  • Excellent communication facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in learning and development.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems is considered an asset.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid role with 3 days in the studio.
