Desired Profile : A proactive team player with good analytical skills hands on experience in product costing good ERP knowledge exposure to CNC machining Product Assembly & Moulding processes.
Qulaification : BE (Mech / Prod/Industrial engg./ Elect. /Electronics)
Experience : Min 37 Years in manufacturing company in costing / Industrial engineering department.
Job Description:
Industrial Engineering & Production :
1 Ensure that work standards are available for all the operations on the shop floor.
2 Deploy relevant techniques of work measurement to establish work standards.
3 Use Modern IE techniques like Line balancing SMED Kaizen 5S to improve productivity.
4 Ensuring that vendors & subcontractors rates are finalised & are in line with fair price.
5 Establishing the norms for rate finalisations.
Costing:
1 Ensure that all the RFQs coming from marketing are addressed in time.
2 Analysis of RFQs like competition analysis Comparing with similar existing items.
3 Lost order Analysis.
Management Reports:
Responsible for drawing various management reports as below:
a) Draw utilization Reports for various shops. Use OEE to monitor the performance.
b) Coordinate with concerned departments & ensure that OEE is improved.
c) Monitor the improvements on Monthly basis.
Layouts:
1 Responsible for Shop Floor Layout ensuring smooth flow of material & no back tracking.
2 Ensuring smooth Material Handling & minimising the search time.
ERP:
1 Ensuring product structures (Low level BOM) are correct.
2 Responsible for Routings in ERP system.
3 Responsible for rolling the standard costs in system.
Cost Reduction:
1 Analysis of existing expenses of the company & highlighting the avenues for cost reduction.
2 Team Formation for cost reduction projects & monitoring the project status.
3 Identify waste elements (MUDA) & coordinate to eliminate it.
4 Keep proper records & documentation of the cost reduction projects.
