Job Summary
As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will lead efforts to design implement and maintain efficient and scalable infrastructure solutions. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployment processes enhance system reliability and optimize performance. Your role will involve automating workflows managing cloud environments and ensuring continuous integration and delivery practices are upheld. Additionally you will mentor junior engineers and promote best practices across the organization.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design implement and manage scalable infrastructure solutions in cloud environments.
- Lead the automation of deployment processes ensuring efficient continuous integration and delivery.
- Monitor and optimize system performance reliability and security.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of new services and features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
- Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively address potential issues.
- Mentor junior DevOps engineers sharing best practices and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance the organizations DevOps practices.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience in DevOps engineering including infrastructure design automation and cloud management.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience inDevOps engineering with a strong focus on cloud environments. Azure stack experience is necessary.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient inTerraformfor infrastructure as code.
- Extensive experience with theAzure cloud stackand its services.
- Strong understanding ofCI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins GitLab CI or Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency inPowerShell/Python for scripting and automation.
- Experience withJSONmanipulation for policy and configuration management.
- Familiarity with Cloud technologies (Azure AWS etc)
- ProblemSolving: Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Collaboration: Excellent collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Leadership: Proven experience in providing technical leadership and mentoring junior developers.
