Job Description

As a Principal Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Data & Analytic Services team which is a part of Corporate Technology youprovide expertise to enhance and develop architecture platforms based on modern cloudbased technologies as well as support the adoption of strategic global solutions. Leverage your advanced architecture capabilities and collaborate with colleagues across the organization to drive bestinclass outcomes.
Job responsibilities
- Advises crossfunctional teams on technology selection to achieve target state architecture and decisions on improvements to current technologies
- Develops multiyear roadmaps aligned with business and architecture strategy and priorities
- Creates complex and scalable coding frameworks using appropriate software design
- Develops secure and highquality production code and reviews and debugs code written by others
- Serves as the functions goto subject matter expert
- Contributes to the development of technical methods in specialized fields in line with the latest product development methodologies
- Creates durable reusable software frameworks that improves velocity and quality of output across teams and functions
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 7 years applied experience.
- Experience leading technologists to manage anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertise and more broadly across the organization
- Handson practical experience delivering system design application development testing and operational stability
- Expertise in one or more programming language(s) and experience working at code level
- Advanced knowledge of software architecture application development and technical processes with considerable indepth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g. cloud artificial intelligence machine learning mobile etc.
- Experience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex architecture problems in one or more technical disciplines
- Experience leading a product as a Product Owner or Product Manager
- Deep expertise with products related to APIs SDKs Micro services frameworks Developer Platforms (including Cloud native tooling) IAM (Identity and Access Management)
- Experience engaging stakeholders across an organization to set strategy align on priorities and deliver to a roadmap while managing to changing business needs and requirements
- Advanced Degree in Computer Science
- Ability to present and effectively communicate to Senior Leaders and Executives
- Passion for building highquality developer experiences and a commitment to product excellence
