Key Responsibilities:
As an Associate Veterinarian you will:
- Perform physical exams and diagnostic tests on various animals including dogs cats rabbits and birds.
- Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries ensuring effective and compassionate care.
- Administer medications and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Perform surgeries and other necessary medical procedures.
- Consult with clients on their pets health providing guidance and educational support.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in California (or have the ability to obtain licensure).
- Have a compassionate approach to animal care with strong interpersonal skills for working with both animals and clients.
- Be a team player with a strong work ethic capable of working independently and collaboratively.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills with a focus on building client relationships and effective teamwork.
