We are hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant at Sentara Therapy Center Port Warwick in Newport News Virginia.
This is a flexipool role that will provide treatment coverage at 4 outpatient therapy centers in Hampton Newport News and Yorktown.
As a Physical Therapist Assistant with Sentara youwill administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist. May assist in the development of treatment plans carry out routine functions and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist.
Provides ageappropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
Education:
- Associate Level Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (Required)
Certification:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification American Heart Association (AHA)
- RQIAmerican Heart Association (AHA)
- RQIAmerican Heart Association (AHA) RQI
Experience:
- 2 years
