Overview

Per Diem NNP opening in Augusta GA Home of the Masters!

Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity for an outstanding experienced certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our wellestablished group in Augusta Georgia. Piedmont Augusta (formerly University Hospital) is a 812bed acutecare facility that serves the AugustaRichmond County area and 25 counties across two states.

  • Coverage includes a 28bed LevelIII NICU and Normal Newborn Nursery with approximately 3000 deliveries per year and an average daily NICU census of 15
  • Team of4 Neonatologists and5 fulltime Neonatal Nurse Practitioners with 24/7 in house NNP coverage and physician call from home
  • NNPs work 12hour shifts inhouse attending deliveries writing orders and managing newborns.
  • No surgical iNO or therapeutic hypothermia patients (regional referral center is one mile away)

Qualifications

  • Current APRN national specialty certification
  • Minimum of a masters degree
  • Active GA license or IMLC required
