As a Business Analytics Lead within PNCs Balance Sheet Analytics & Modeling organization you will be based in Pittsburgh PA. This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may performed remotely at managers discretion.Data Domain Management (Role Specific) Responsibilities:
Leads overall data documentation program for data analytics program in Corporate and Institutional Banking and the Asset Management Group
Partners with MIS and Data Domain Owners to establish documentation / lineage requirements for applications and data assets
Directs documentation activities defines best practices and supports Application Owners to ensure compliance with established best practices
Serves as an Alation documentation expert for data consumers developers and other stakeholders
Drives change management protocols in support of data documentation compliance
Preferred Technical Skills:
Bachelors degree in an analytical discipline (e.g. Analytics STEM etc.
SQL proficiency and understanding of database designs
Strong understanding of data documentation concepts and tools (i.e. Alation)
Proven project management and leadership skills
Knowledge of common analytical tools (Tableau Rshiny PowerBI etc.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Intellectual curiosity
Knowledge of the banking industry preferred

Job Description
- Leads the analytics processes across multiple functions or business units leveraging an array of complex analytical tools to create data driven solutions. Serves as mentor to more junior employees.
- Consults with clients and mentors consultants on tool and strategy implementation and monitoring statistical scoring business intelligence data quality and analytical product / solution development.
- Determining the optimal analytic approach and supporting development implementation and enhancements.
- Conceptualizing developing and continuously optimizing analytical solution for operations and executive management to enable data driven decision making.
- Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences.
