Job Description
Senior Radiologic Technologist Diagnostic Imaging Specialist
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Senior Radiologic Technologist where youll utilize cuttingedge imaging technology to provide exceptional patient care. In this role youll be instrumental in conducting diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced radiographic equipment (CR DR PACS)
- Conduct thorough patient assessments before during and after procedures following departmental protocols
- Administer IV contrast media and perform specialized procedures including urinary catheterizations
- Ensure radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles are strictly followed
- Maintain detailed patient records and imaging documentation in PACS
- Mentor and train new staff members and radiologic technology students
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient care
- Maintain equipment quality control and report any technical issues promptly
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- Current ARRT registration or registryeligible status
- Valid American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider certification
- Strong knowledge of radiation protection and safety protocols
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Proficiency with digital imaging systems and PACS
- High school diploma or equivalent
