Job Description
Role Summary:
This position requires to perform below
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Work closely with SME and Product engineers during design review process and provide manufacturing feedback.
- Shall independantly perform product validation and support certifications like cryogenic high temperature and fugitive emission testing.
- Work closely with production team and third party inspectors during testing.
- Provide solution to field failures or service team.
- Advise QA team on ETO testing requirements as per standards during ITP.
Responsibilities:
- Assembly and testing of prototype valves and ETO production valves.
- Carrying out root cause analysis and A3 problem solving for recurrence issues.
- Preparation of assembly guidelines lifting procedures and testing procedures.
- Review of ETO designs based on lessons learnt.
- Interface with supplier customer and third party during manufacturing assembly and testing.
- R&D Tests Prototype Tests: Endurance; Emission Performance Test; Temperature Tests
- Strip Tests Analysis and Recommendations.
- R&D Test Report Preparation.
- Prepare documents collect inputs store & retain maintain revise retrieve disposition as required.
- 100 compliance to Flowserve safety 6S and OPEX maturity assessment.
- Use Stop Work Authority if potential unsafe or near miss observed
- Prepare and drive technical documents for product.
- Meet internal and external customer OTD and site FPY.
- Plan Drive Resource and Execute production order qualification troubleshooting site issues and R&D Proto validation.
Requirement:
- Proven track record of leading product testing in a manufacturing environment and demonstrated technical ability to isolate issues.
- Ability to read interpret and prepare documents such as safety rules engineering drawings operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.
- Ability to write routine and technical correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
- Ability to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
- BE or Degree in relevant field with minimum 5 years of relevant experience
