IB Film Teacher
Job Description:
DePaul College Prep is seeking a passionate creative and innovative film studies and production teacher to join the STEAM Department. In this position the film teacher will develop and deliver a curriculum for various film courses (IB Film Documentary Production and Film Fundamentals). A strong grasp of film production techniques familiarity with equipment such as DLSR cameras and lights knowledge of international film history and the ability to assist students with academic writing are essential for this position. There are additional stipend opportunities to moderate the Cup of Joe (student news media club) and to partner with the Admission and Advancement Offices to develop promotional videos.
Qualifications:
BFA/BA/BS Degree
Professional Film Experience
Illinois PEL or other state PEL that can be transferred to IL preferred
MA/MS/MFA/MEd preferred
