- Head Softball CoachSalary: $8000*Reports to: Director of Athletics/BSC
Duties will include but are not limited to; Leading all phases of the Intercollegiate Softball program. Recruiting within conference guidelines teaching advanced softball skills monitoring individuals academic process overseeing the transportation of the team participating in fundraising activities encouraging and demonstrating good sportsmanship and processing appropriate institutional and conference paperwork. The position reports directlytothe Director of Athletics and is responsible for managing all assistant coaches and volunteers for the Softball program. Essential Functions

Recruit within conferenceguidelines

Assistwiththemonitoringof theindividualsacademicprogress
Oversee transportation of the team

Processappropriate institutionaland conferencepaperwork
Leadpracticesandgamesonweekdayafternoonsevenings andweekends
Perform other related duties asand/or assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Experience as a softballcoach
Understandingof intercollegiatesoftballrulesandregulations
Current First Aid/CPR Certification
Desired Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or equivalent
Experienceatthehighschoolcluborcollegelevel
Experience working in a community college.

Additional Information
Terms of Employment
Head Coaches will be paid $8000 annually.
Conditions of Employment
Prior to a new hire a background check including criminal record history will be conducted. Information from the background check will not necessarily preclude employment but will be considered in determining the applicants suitability and competence to perform in the position. In addition to the background check candidates will be required to complete the Sexual Misconduct Disclosure Form as required WB HB 2327.
