JOB DESCRIPTION May be asked to teach days evenings hybrid/online and in the dual enrollment program. Online/hybrid teaching requires additional campusbased training.

Desirable Qualifications
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS Demonstrated success in helping arts students from historically underrepresented and/or marginalized groups nontraditional students speakers of other languages and students with learning disabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Masters in fine arts art or art history OR Bachelors in any of the above AND Masters in humanities OR Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area; OR the equivalent. Equivalent qualifications may include related education training employment and professional experience that would be equal to the required degree(s) and experience in this field as determined by the District Equivalency Committee. The applicant must be able to demonstrate how these factors relate to the need for equity minded practices within the classroom. NOTE : Masters in fine arts as used here refers to any masters degree in the subject matter of fine arts which is defined to include visual studio arts such as drawing painting sculpture printmaking ceramics textiles and metal and jewelry art; and also art education and art therapy. It does not refer to the Master of Fine Arts MFA degree when that degree is based on specialization in performing arts or dance film video photography creative writing or other nonplastic arts.
