The Repair Center Administrator plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operation of the repair shop. The Administrator compiles and records repair data preparing records and reports on various aspects of the repair shops. This role involves calculating labor maintaining summaries and document files and operating computer systems to ensure correct data management.
Responsibilities:
Open and close repair orders
File claims in various systems for reimbursement of services
Prepare and maintain daily/weekly reports of progress within the repair shop
Place orders based on the Repair documentation and follow the orders until delivery at VPC
Provide updates on units throughout the repair process via internal update system
Collaborate with technicians and the parts department to ensure timely availability of materials and efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in business administration preferred.
Work well in a team environment and have positive interaction with team members.
Experience in compiling and recording production data.
Proficient in operating computer systems and software for data management. Microsoft 365 applications preferred.
Professional communication skills (verbal/written) required in order to communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
VPC Core operating hours are Monday Friday / 6:00 am 2:30 pm. Overtime will be scheduled based on production needs.
Must be willing to cross train at VPCs during onboarding process which will require overnight travel(Westlake (Jacksonville Fl) and Commerce Ga.
