Job Description

Contract or per diem LPNs needed ASAP

Job Description (Flexible hours day shift or night shift or weekend whichever you prefer)

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing direct patient care in a skilled nursing facility. The RN will assess patient needs develop and implement care plans and monitor patient progress. The RN will also collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients. This location is in the greater Boston area.

Qualifications for the Registered Nurse position include:

  • Active and unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of 12 years of LPN experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience in a skilled nursing facility longterm care facility or nursing home is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to different shifts and assignments.

  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to residents including administering medications treatments and monitoring health conditions.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Observe and document residents conditions and report any changes to the supervising RN or physician.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist residents with daily activities such as feeding dressing and mobility support as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with residents families and staff to ensure quality care.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other support staff.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and follow appropriate protocols.
