Job Description
The Application Developer is responsible for designingdeveloping and maintaining software solutions using the Omnis Studio role involves collaborating with development and business teams andunderstanding how to leverage Omnis technologies to build robust and efficientfeatures.

EssentialFunctions
- Develop maintain and implement software solutions using OmnisStudio for various organizational applications including informationretrieval workflow management and data analytics.
- Evaluate existing applications to enhance functionalitytroubleshoot issues and perform bug fixes using Omnis Studio.
- Interpret client requirements and translate them into efficientapplication features using Omnis Studio capabilities.
- Contribute to proposing innovative designs or alternativesolutions that meet business requirements while ensuring flexibility andextensibility.
- Collaborate effectively with a global team of IT professionals toachieve project goals and communicate project status to stakeholders.
- Meet deadlines for module completion throughout the softwaredevelopment lifecycle being.
- Create accurate technical documentation that representsapplication design and code implementation using Omnis Studio.
- Support QA UAT Release and DEV support phases in compliancewith change management processes and development best practices.
- Collaborate with and train development resources on technologiesprocesses and code bases to achieve flexible resource allocation and crosstraining.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in computer scienceengineering or related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience developingapplications using Omnis Studio or similar Rapid Application Development toolstargeted at developing Windows applications and backend services.
- Proficiency is a must in:
- Omnis Studiodevelopment environment including Omnis IDE. OR
- Similar RADtools like Delphi PowerBuilder Xojo 4D 4th Dimension)OutSystems etc...
- Experience with web services web applicationdevelopment and integration.
- Familiarity with API design andimplementation.
- Strong SQL skills experience with relationaldatabases such as SQL Server is required.
- Understanding of computer security principlesand experience in regulated environments or healthcare IT is advantageous.
- Good to have: Knowledge of additionalprogramming languages and technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript HTMLCSS Angular/React C# SOAPUI etc.
- Experience in developing and maintaininglegacy applications with business critical functions is a plus.
