Job Description
Are you looking for a change in 2023 Permanent teaching position without afterschool preparation or report writing!
Goat Track Theatre based on Tambourine Mountain on the Gold Coast is looking for Teacher Artists to run classes and workshops at our wellknown drama school servicing campuses across the Gold Coast. Due to increased demand for our reputable workshop classes we are looking for Teachers who are passionate about delivering engaging workshops to children.
Goat Track Theatre have established workshops on the Gold Coast and have recently expanded to the Sunshine Coast.
The aim is to provide the best childrens drama program and theatre school in Australia and we are a long way down that path with a unique and engaging format and curriculum developed by an experienced and passionate team.
The ideal person will be highly personable energetic and able to quickly engage children to spark joy and creativity. We are looking for Teacher Artists who will embrace the core of our business;Growing Greatness in children and young people through care creativity connection and courage.
This is a handson studentfacing role delivering classes. We are looking for exceptional and engaging Teacher Artists to ensure that our students have a captivating and creative experience. We value team members who are able todevelop highquality longterm relationships with both the students and their families. Class planning or unit development experience is not a prerequisite as we can teach this one the job we are looking for flexible team members who want to continue to learn and grow the business.
There is more than one role available and we encourage applications from all experience levels. Fulltime or parttime employment will be offered for the right person. You will be required to work at the office and travel to various campuses for classes and workshops.

Blue Card (required)
Tertiary Educated (Diploma of Drama Education BA (Applied Theatre) or similar
Feel energized when working with children and young people
A passion for teaching
Inquisitive nature want to continue to learn
Breadth and depth of knowledge in theatre/drama
First Aid Certificate (preferred)
Reliable vehicle for travel to workshops and classes
Charismatic personality!
