We are currently hiring a Insurance Accounting Supervisor in the Hub Financial Center (HFC) the centralized accounting team for HUB International. This opportunity is primarily responsible for posting of direct bill commissions received from carriers.

About the position:

The Insurance Accounting Supervisor leads the success growth efficiency and progress of their dedicated department. This leader is passionate about the impact they have and utilize their strengths to create a unit that not only exceeds in productivity but also promotes model behavior to the Hub community culture. Driving and guiding the process improvement collaboration and engagement across their supporting leads and core team members. They are committed to providing their team with clear expectations championing them to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations fostering high performance and employee engagement
• Develop coach and provide feedback involving quality accountability and productivity
• Create development plans to enhance individual and team capabilities
• Coordinates and leads team meetings to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives
• Accomplishes departmental objectives by measuring results identifying process improvements and making required changes as necessary
• Monitor department metrics and KPIs to identify trends and drive improvements
• Strategizes with Department Manager and Senior Manager on efficiencies
• Builds and maintains positive connections with Hub leaders and regional partners
• Analyzes opportunities within functional area and recommends proactive solutions
• Cultivate a positive and collaborative team culture that promotes innovation
• Actively engage in projects or additional assignments

RequiredPreferred Qualifications:

• Required 2 years with a proven track record of directly overseeing a successful team
• Required 2years of experience in the insurance accounting accounts payable banking or billing fields
• Required 2years of experience managing performance behaviors and production.
• Professional certification or BA in Business Accounting or related area is preferred
• Intermediate to advanced computer program skills in all Microsoft Office Suite
• Passionate about team development and fostering personal and professional growth
• Adaptability to shifting priorities managing multiple projects and leading to achieve effective results in a growing environment
• Excellent verbal and communication skills to build and maintain positive relationships
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

Disclosure required under applicable municipal regulations in NY and NJ as well as the law in Colorado California and Washington states: The expected salary range for this position is $66560 to $76960 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidates skills experience and working location as well as the specific positions business line scope and level.
