Job Description
Seeking a detailoriented Staff Accountant with 2 years of experience in accounting or finance preferably within the nonprofit sector. A bachelors degree in accounting finance or a related field is required. The role is responsible for billing collections account reconciliation journal entries and ensuring timely and accurate financial transaction recording. Responsibilities also include supporting monthend close maintaining compliance with nonprofit accounting standards and collaborating across departments to ensure accurate reporting. This position offers an annual salary range of $55000 and includes medical vision dental paid time off 401k and other voluntary benefits.
Position Highlights
Prepares and processes accurate timely invoices in compliance with contracts and grant terms.
Manages receivables and ensures timely collection of outstanding payments.
Performs regular reconciliations to ensure accurate and complete financial data.
Records journal entries to support monthly and yearend closing processes.
Assists in preparing financial statements and analyzing budget variances.
Maintains records and ensures adherence to nonprofit accounting standards.
Coordinates with internal teams and external partners on financial matters.
