Job Description
We are looking for a strong and passionate Senior Accountant (NetSuite) to join our global team in a permanently remote work setup as an independent contractor. For this role we only process candidates that are based in the Philippines.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Lead daytoday accounting activities including:
- Accounts Payable (AP): reviewing invoices accounting for deposit payments coding transactions and processing compliance with accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) regulations and tax requirements.
- Accounts Receivable (AR): invoicing processing deposits collections and revenue recognition
- Maintaining and balancing the General Ledger (GL).
- Monthly account reconciliations (GL bank accounts credit cards month and yearend closing).
- Maintaining weekly cash flow document and informing management on cash position
- Support in creating actionable financial reporting & analysis providing insights and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) regulations and tax requirements.
- Consistently deliver timely and quality client services.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with the team and the client

- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent
- 35 years of combined accounting and finance experience
- Strong knowledge and experience with NetSuite bookkeeping financial statements reporting and analysis
- Capable of working from home with strong internet connectivity
- Highly detailoriented and organized skilled at managing multiple tasks simultaneously with efficiency.
- Strong analytical abilities with a sharp focus on ensuring accuracy in financial data.
- Proactive and adaptable eager to learn and thrive in a dynamic fastpaced work environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information.
- Techsavvy quick to learn and proficient in navigating accounting and workflow software.
