Trailer & Tire Mechanic
Job Type:TemptoHire
Location:Broken Arrow OK
Pay:$20$23 per hour
Shift:MondayFriday 6:00 AM4:00 PM (hours may vary based on business needs and weather)
Job Responsibilities
Possess aworking knowledgeof various tire types and sizes.
Change replace and rotatetrailer tires.
Repair and maintaintrailer lights brakes and air lines.
Be available to work avariety of shifts including days evenings and weekends.
Performroutine maintenance and adjustmentson trailer equipment per manufacturer and company schedules.
Inspect and repairtrailers including working in on or under trailer parts.
Safelywalk and standfor extended periods on uneven or slippery surfaces including outdoor work in inclement weather.
Safelywalk reach (including overhead) bend climb push pull twist squat and kneelas necessary.
Repair or rebuildtrailer systems as needed.
Maintainshop cleanliness safety and compliancewith company policies.
Adhere toDOT EPA OSHA and other applicable regulations.
Conductsafety inspectionsand preparedocumentationas required.
Participate incompany training programsto stay up to date with best practices.
Physical Requirements
Ability tolift bend stretch twist and reachusing arms and legs.
Remain on feet for8 to 12hour shifts.
Work outdoors for extended periods invarying weather conditions(heat cold rain etc..
Lift objects ofvarious sizes and weights(up to50 lbs frequentlyand occasionally greater than75 lbs.
Work industy environments.
