At Draxton Lleida located between Cervera and Trrega we are looking to hire a Environmental Technician.

In this role you will be responsible for developing and monitoring all environmental activities following the guidance of your manager internal procedures and legal regulations with the aim of minimizing our environmental impact as much as possible.

You will report directly to the Plant Manager and functionally to the E&A Environmental Manager.

Main Responsibilities:


  • Manage and control all waste generated at the plant.
  • Propose improvement actions for the selection reuse and/or recycling of waste.
  • Participate in and prepare for the annual ISO 14001 audits and support the implementation of ISO 50001.
  • Keep accurate documentation and records related to the environmental management system.
  • Organize and deliver environmental awareness and training sessions for plant employees.
  • Promote environmental consciousness and sustainability within the plant.
  • Complete annual electronic declarations including PRTR packaging declarations and hazardous/nonhazardous waste reports.

    • To succeed in this role you will need:


    • Technical education in Environmental Science or a related field.
    • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.

      • Fulltime onsite role: Monday to Thursday flexible start between 89 a.m. with finish times from 5 p.m. onwards. Fridays: intensive schedule from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
