The Role:
As an Installation Technician youll play a critical role in delivering exceptional service and reliable door solutions to our customers. You will diagnose troubleshoot repair and upgrade a variety of sliding swinging and rotating doors while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
- Perform planned maintenance breakfix repair and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electromechanical devices electrical circuits and relay logic.
- Work with aluminum frames glazing materials hardware and lowvoltage wiring.
- Maintain professional communication with customers endusers and contractors providing exceptional service at every interaction.
- Participate in training programs and maintain AAADM certification.
- Operate power tools and perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 100 lbs. climbing ladders kneeling).
- Participate in oncall rotations after certification and training.
- Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electromechanical devices.
- Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and lowvoltage 120v) wiring (access control systems a plus).
- Experience in glazing storefronts aluminum frames and hardware (preferred).
- Valid drivers license and a good driving record.
- High commitment to safety customer satisfaction and teamwork.
- Ability to lift bend and use power tools effectively.
