Were currently hiring coachable motivated reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join oursummer painting crew. As a Painter youll be responsible for delivering highquality work on a variety of residential painting projects gaining valuable experience while working outdoors in a supportive studentled environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete Interior Exterior Painting and Deck Staining/Painting Projects
Learn how to properly prep paint/stain and finish different surfaces including wood aluminum drywall stucco and more. Youll gain full knowledge of industrystandard painting techniques and job site procedures.Travel to Various Job Sites
Our projects take place throughout Bowmanville Newcastle and Courtice so painters must be comfortable commuting between different homes and neighbourhoods throughout the summer as job sites will be different all summer long. Team transportation may be available depending on the day.Work Safely at Heights
Many of our jobs involve multistory homes so painters will frequently be required to use ladders and other equipment. Youll be trained in ladder safety and will be expected to follow all safety protocols on site to ensure a safe workplace.Maintain Job Site Quality & Cleanliness
Youll be expected to help keep every single worksite clean organized and professional as it will be a standard throughout the summer.Collaborate with a Positive Hardworking Team
Teamwork is essential! Youll be working alongside fellow students and team leaders to complete projects efficiently and effectively with an emphasis on communication and mutual support with the teams.
What Were Looking For:
- Positive attitude reliability and commitment to highquality work
Strong attention to detail high in integrity (stay true to your commitments) as well as the ability to use criticism and coaching to improve throughout the summer
Ability to work fulltime during the summer season (MayAugust)
Comfortable with physical labor and working outdoors in the summer weather
Prior painting experience is preferred but not required as we provide full training and support
