About the Role
As a Project Officer in the Indigenous Advancement team youll have the opportunity to drive impactful initiatives supporting the Universitys Indigenous Strategy. Youll gain valuable experience in project management event coordination and stakeholder engagement while working in a collaborative environment. This role offers you the chance to contribute directly to Indigenous advancement and develop your skills in a supportive purposedriven setting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide Operational Support: Assist with administrative duties meeting coordination and document preparation for the Indigenous Advancement team.
  • Coordinate Engagement Initiatives: Support the delivery of donor and alumni engagement programs working independently on special projects.
  • Facilitate Reporting and Planning: Assist in preparing business reports project briefs and annual plans ensuring accurate data collection and management.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with Indigenous colleagues communities and external partners to deliver strategic initiatives supporting Murmuk Djerring.

About You
You are a dedicated professional with strong organisational and communication skills able to work collaboratively in a diverse team to advance Indigenous initiatives.

You will also have:

  • Experience in alumni relations or donor relations.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to deliver initiatives on time and within budget.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; adept at translating complex information clearly.
  • Experience in event management and stakeholder engagement across diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with a willingness to learn new software systems.
