Job Description
Security Safety Officer
- WorkwithShiftSupervisorsonassignedprojectsandmonthlydeliverablestoOperationsManager
- Coordinateemergency/incidentresponseintheabsenceoftheOperationsManager
- withallofficerson the monthlytrainingexpectations ofboth theAdobeclient andtheSecuritas

- Twomonthlydrillsperofficer
- TwotrainingtopicspermonthperofficertobepresentedattheAllHandsmeeting
- When needed provide support for Shift Supervisors for site operations (Patrols Breaking Officers Special Event Support and Post Inspections)
- Respondtoemergencysituationsincludingfiremedicalemergencyevacuationsetc.
- Developdrillsforofficersforemergencyresponseexpectations
- Proctormonthlymedicalpracticesessiondrillsforeachofficer
- ProvideregularFirstAid/CPR/AEDtrainingonsitetoemployees/contingentworkersduringtheweekwith one class a month on Saturday for employees family members.
- Ensureall Security Officers maintain current FirstAid/CPR/AEDand BloodbornePathogens(BBP) certifications; and all officers receive continuous medical education
- Creationandreviewofmedicalincidentreports
- ConductSafety Inspections
- PerformmonthlyFireExtinguisherInspections
- WorkwithAdobeSecurityManagementandFacilitiesstaffonallprojectsandoreventsrelatingtolife safety
- AssistindevelopmentanddeliveryofSafetyTraining
- ConductmonthlyAEDInspections
- AdministrativetasksinsupportoftheAdobeSafety Programtoincludethe following:
- ErgonomicsCoordination:
- SendlinkforSelfAssessmentformtoallemployeesrequestingergonomicassistance
- Trackandrecordallprogressofergonomicrequestsreportnumbersquarterlytothe Site Security Manager.
- IfapplicablerequestavirtualevaluationforanemployeefromErgolQLive
- EvaluateAdobeemployeeergonomichealthwhileattheirworkstationsandoffer recommendations
- Forward evaluation report to employees and outlinefortheorderingprocess working with ERC when needed.
- ErgonomicsCoordination:
- AdministrationoftheEmergencyResponseTeam(ERT)
- ScheduleERTTrainings
- TrackmembershipandtraininginEH&SSharePoint
- RecruitnewERTmembers
- TeachERTclasseswhereappropriate

- Monitorexpirationsdatesofallperishable items
- Minimum21yearsofage
- PossessavalidStatePrivateSecurityOfficerLicense
- MusthavevalidStateDriversLicensewithnoDUIsorsuspensionswithinthelastthreeyears
- HighSchooldiplomaorequivalent
- 35yearsofSecurityOfficerexperience(preferred)
- Excellentmotivationalleadershipandcoachingskills
- Excellentverbalandwrittencommunicationskills;toincludereportwriting
- Excellent customerandemployeerelations skills
- Possesstheabilitytogetalongwithcoworkersandworkasamemberofalargerteam
- Abilitytoanalyzeproblemsidentifycausesandimplement resultsoriented solutions

- Ability to develop and writeclear/concisepoliciesand procedures reports emails and memos

- MustholdacurrentcertificationasanEMTinthestateapplyingfor
- 23yearsofEMTexperience(preferred)
- Emergency Response andor trainingexperience
- Nodisciplinaryorattendanceissueswithin1year
- FirstAid/CPR/AEDCertified
- Security(ideallyinahightechenvironment)militaryorlawenforcementexperiencewithsomecollege preferred.
