Your Role and Responsibilities as a Senior Care Assistant:
- Training and mentoring new Care Professionals and provide ongoing support
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing dressing and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help with meal preparation and medication reminders
- Assist with light housekeeping and errands
- Support clients with mobility and physical activities
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients conditions to the appropriate team members
- Build strong trusting relationships with clients and their families
- To provide support to Care Professionals through introductions and shadow visits.
Qualifications :
What We Look For in You Our Senior Care Assistant:
- Adaptability and a personable nature.
- Good communication skills and able to work collaboratively
- Prepared to respond to emergencies and to report concerns to the Registered Care Manager
- Genuine willingness to prioritise the wellbeing of others.
- Valid UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle for work.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
