Job Description

Position Summary

The Logistics Specialist is an integral position within the Logistic department to oversee partner agreements contracts and documentation throughout their lifecycle. This role involves supporting the drafting reviewing and monitoring of contracts and SLAs to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions. The Logistics Specialist will work closely with various departments to help ensure that all contractual obligations are met and that the companys interests are protected.

Level of Responsibility

Enhanced task complexity and accountability to customer. Enhanced autonomy in role contributing significantly to team/organizational projects. Accountable for accuracy and efficiency in assigned tasks. Starting to mentor junior staff.


Qualifications :

Key Tasks

  • Assist in preparing reviewing and negotiating contracts to ensure they meet company standards and legal requirements.
  • Help maintain and update contract records ensuring all relevant documentation is accurate and accessible.
  • Support the monitoring of contracts to ensure compliance with company policies legal requirements and industry regulations.
  • Assist in identifying potential risks in contracts and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external parties to facilitate contract management and audits. It involves:
  • Inventory reconciliation.
  • Asset monitoring through EDI lifecycle.
  • Onsite audit of inventory.
  • Performance monitoring.
  • Help address and resolve any issues or disputes related to contracts.
  • Assist in generating reports on contract status compliance and performance metrics.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) related issues with internal teams and external partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic partners to address issues and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Skills / Experience

  • Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in the field of contract management or procurement.
  • University education required in Business Administration Law or a related field.
  • Bilingual (French & English) required.
  • A commitment to diligence and a proactive approach to work
  • Effective communication & strong interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft and Excel skills with an ability to expand capabilities.
  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
  • Knowledge and experience with EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)
