Job Description
This position is for an Industrial Production Mechanic. The client is looking for a high quality professional industrial mechanic who can assemble machinery directly from prints. Must have experiential knowledge of best practices a strong work ethic and a high standard of quality.
The client is in need of at least two highly skilled industrial mechanics on a temp basis through the end of the year. These individuals need to be high caliber professionals who are ready to contribute to production from day one. This is NOT a trainee placement. While this could turn into more a more permanent position the client just needs help through the end of this year.
They are willing to pay a higher temporary rate for skilled professionals
Theyre looking for highly skilled temps through yearend. Willing to pay a reasonably premium rate short term. Temp can become perm but at market rate to be discussed.
Qualifications:
1. Professional level skills in assembly of industrial machinery including drilling tapping reaming and cutting steel stainless nickel and other metals.
2. Able to read and build from mechanical assembly drawings.
3. Able to perform quality checks using verniers micrometers ring gauges plug gauges and pin gauges.
4. Strong industrial piping experience (up to 2 od) including sizing bending threading and installing.
5. Welding experience is a plus.
6. Team player and able to work with limited supervision.
