WHATS THE JOB
The Janitorial Maintenance Technician role with OutlandHorizon North at Greenstone Gold Mines includes maintaining the overall cleanliness and and sanitization of the site common areas to ensure a safe and orderly work environment.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Conformity to site and job specific safety standards and requirements
- Empty trash containers and dispose of collected debris in designated locations
- Sweeping and mopping of floors
- Preparation of cleaning solutions and clean all surfaces throughout the site
- Cleaning and restocking of restrooms
- Touch point sanitization
Qualifications :
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- Ability to work a 1 week on/1 week off rotation in a camp setting
- You are a motivated selfstarter with an eye for detail with the ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Valid G Class drivers license with clean abstract and personal vehicle is a strong asset
- Previous janitorial or housekeeping experience an asset but not required
- Dedicated to job safety and quality standards
- Familiar with basic technology use (email accessing online training etc.
- Be able to handle the following physical demands:
- Lift carry push or pull up to 50 lbs
- Climb ladders or stairs
- Stand walk squat kneel or sit according to task for extended lengths of time
- Perform repetitive hand work requiring full use of both hands
- Perform work with arms at full length
- Work with arms above shoulder height

Work Schedule and Remuneration:
Janitorial Maintenance Technicians work rotational schedules of 1 week on/1 week off. You may be required to work weekdays weekends and general holidays.
Wages are paid on an hourly basis with a starting rate of $22.00. Specific pay details are discussed at the interview phase. Transportation to and from the site and accommodations are provided.
