Job Description

 

Onboarding Supervisor (Volunteer/Remote)

 Responsibilities And What You Will Do:

  • Provides leadership support advocacy and vision to onboarding coordinators and support staff

  • Works in collaboration with the Onboarding Manager

  • Oversees a team of Onboarding Coordinators

  • Develops new strategies and programs to streamline the onboarding process

  • Works with the onboarding team to bring in new volunteers

  • Ensures all necessary documentation recorded for new volunteers

  • Communicates with managers in other departments about new team members

  • Works closely with recruiting the manager and other HR supervisors to share best practices provide assistance on critical needs and coordinate on nationallevel initiatives.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 

  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department.

  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.  



 

Heres what were looking for:

  • Bachelors degree in human resources or related field a plus.

  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRMCP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRMSCP) credential preferred.

  • Thorough understanding of applicable policies and federal state and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

  • Ability to function well in a highpaced and at times stressful environment.

  • Must be available to volunteer 15 hours a week
