Responsibilities And What You Will Do:
Provides leadership support advocacy and vision to onboarding coordinators and support staff
Works in collaboration with the Onboarding Manager
Oversees a team of Onboarding Coordinators
Develops new strategies and programs to streamline the onboarding process
Works with the onboarding team to bring in new volunteers
Ensures all necessary documentation recorded for new volunteers
Communicates with managers in other departments about new team members
Works closely with recruiting the manager and other HR supervisors to share best practices provide assistance on critical needs and coordinate on nationallevel initiatives.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Heres what were looking for:
Bachelors degree in human resources or related field a plus.
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRMCP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRMSCP) credential preferred.
Thorough understanding of applicable policies and federal state and local employment laws and regulations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to function well in a highpaced and at times stressful environment.
Must be available to volunteer 15 hours a week
