**Job Title: PartTime Cook**
**Location:** Atlantic IA
**Job Type:** PartTime
**About Us:**
AllenPlace is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate PartTime Cook to join our culinary team and help us deliver outstanding meals to our guests.
**Job Summary:**
The PartTime Cook will be responsible for preparing highquality dishes in a fastpaced kitchen environment while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. This role requires a strong work ethic attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to our menu and recipes.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards.
Assist in meal planning and ingredient selection as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Assist in inventory management and stock control including ordering supplies and ingredients.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
Help train new kitchen staff as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
**Qualifications:**
Previous experience in a kitchen or culinary role preferred but not required for entrylevel positions.
Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety practices.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple tasks.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
**Physical Requirements:**
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Comfortable lifting and carrying heavy kitchen equipment and ingredients.
Ability to work in a hot fastpaced kitchen environment.
