Job Description

Responsibilities

  • full scope of practice as an obstetrician/gynecologist providing care to the patients within Northern Zone
  • participating in call and able to respond to urgent matters within 20 minutes of being called
  • provide support to your own site but also to others in the Northern Zone if required which will include daytime coverage and occasional overnight/weekend coverage
  • responsible to the Zone Department Head for Women and Children for their professional responsibilities and quality of practice and will operate within the Medical Staff Bylaws of the Nova Scotia Health Authority
