Job Description
Responsibilities
- full scope of practice as an obstetrician/gynecologist providing care to the patients within Northern Zone
- participating in call and able to respond to urgent matters within 20 minutes of being called
- provide support to your own site but also to others in the Northern Zone if required which will include daytime coverage and occasional overnight/weekend coverage
- responsible to the Zone Department Head for Obstetrics & Gynecologist for their professional responsibilities and quality of practice and will operate within the Medical Staff Bylaws of the Nova Scotia Health Authority

- Full Time Permanent
- OnCall Participation 1:4
Qualifications :
- candidate must be eligible for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC)
- candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
- membership with Canadian Medical Protective Association(CMPA)
