Job Description

This is a remote position.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing coding and modifying websites and web applications from layout to function according to project specifications. You should be passionate about creating userfriendly visually appealing and responsive web experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain functional responsive websites and web applications.

Write clean scalable and welldocumented code using HTML CSS JavaScript and other web technologies.

Work with backend developers and web designers to improve usability and performance.

Optimize applications for speed and scalability.

Conduct website testing and debugging.

Stay uptodate on emerging technologies and apply them into operations and activities.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.

Ensure security and data protection best practices are followed.

Requirements

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Web Developer or similar role.

Proficiency in frontend languages and frameworks (e.g. HTML CSS JavaScript React Vue).

Familiarity with backend languages (e.g. PHP Python) and frameworks is a plus.

Experience with content management systems (e.g. WordPress Drupal) is desirable.

Understanding of UI/UX principles.

Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.

Knowledge of SEO principles is a plus.

Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Web Development or related field or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have:

Experience with API integration (REST GraphQL).

Knowledge of cloud services (e.g. AWS Azure).

Ecommerce or web accessibility (WCAG) experience.

Required Experience/Qualifications: - A minimum of 2 years of professional software engineering experience. - Experience in building application back end using either Ruby on Rails or Java/Spring-Boot. - At least 2 years of recent experience in developing single-page web applications using React or Angular (React is preferred, with experience in associated technologies like React hooks and JSX being highly desired). - Minimum of 2 years of experience with frontend state-management frameworks such as Redux or Context. - Proficient in using JavaScript ES6 syntax (e.g., arrow functions, destructuring assignment, etc.. - A good understanding of CI/CD concepts. Preferred Experience/Qualifications: - Experience with design frameworks such as Bootstrap or Material UI for implementing responsive design. - Familiarity with accessibility guidelines, such as WCAG or Section 508 compliance. - Experience using REST API services. - Familiarity with Git for source control.
