As a BHUC LPN youll play a key role in supporting individuals during critical moments providing care that is solutionfocused and clientcentered. Minimum Requirements:

• Must meet the following qualifications:
  • Completed an Approved Nursing Program
  • Licensure through the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Annual salary for this position is $60000

Preferred Qualifications:

• Foundational knowledge of behavioral health principles.
• Ability to provide compassionate care in a crisis setting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively within the BHUC team.

Position Description:

• Completion of telephonic Screenings to assess appropriateness for admission consideration.
• Completion of nursing screenings for BHUC arrivals which may include a pregnancy test urine drug screen and breathalyzer.
• Collaborate with prescribers to review clinical information discuss medication needs and determine appropriateness for BHUC admission or alternative care options.
• Prepare administer and monitor medications as prescribed.
• Provide ongoing medical oversight throughout the individuals stay.
