Job Description
- Develop backend storefront services utilizing Microsoft Azure and PlayFab which cleanly integrate with web frontend experiences
- Gather and refine technical specifications and requirements based on project needs
- Write clean and concise code that conforms to modern best practices
- Create and maintain software documentation
- Assist developers creating custom and sometimes complex communityfocused WordPressbased websites associated with Xbox and PC game titles
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications
- 35 years of experience building websites backend web services or storefronts
- Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON XML)
- Strong understanding of PHP backend development
- Understanding of frontend technologies including HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript jQuery
- Comfortable utilizing inspector and web development debugging tools
- Crossbrowser and device development testing
- Experience with change control and code versioning tools specifically Git
- Confident working with databases such as SLQ/MySQL and writing queries
- Strong analytic and problemsolving skills
