Position Overview:
Desktop Support Services relate to managing and maintaining user endpoint devices including Customers desktops laptops printers and other mobile devices. You will complete proper inventory and asset recording processes prior to and during delivery and complete appropriate paperwork as required for customer acceptance. On a daily basis you will travel to customer locations so a flexible work schedule is a must.
Key Responsibilities:

TheField Services Technicianis primarily responsible for:
- Provide recommendations to Customer in the review inventory and procurement of enduser systems.
- Deploy end user systems (as needed) for hires or as part of normal system refreshes.
- Provide ongoing daytoday management of Customers enduser systems and devices.
- Protect Customers enduser systems via Customersupplied antivirus and antimalware solutions.
- Provide destruction and disposal services including Certificate(s) of Destruction for systems that are End of Life (EoL).
- Deploy software packages to enduser systems as specified by Customer.
- Contact thirdparty suppliers including but not limited to Ricoh and HP on behalf of Customer for printerrelated issues.
- Maintain and manage Customers network printers including toner replacement and regular printer maintenance.
- Provide Project Management Services for projects relating to Workstation & Printer services.
- Maintain an inventory of Customers workstation peripheral and printer devices.
- Adhere to Customers onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Ensure availability of Customers workstations and printers per prescribed SLAs.
We are seeking candidates with the following experience and skills:
- High School diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree preferred and at least 5 years experience with PC systems related peripherals structure cabling and common software programs and Operating Systems.
- A certification
- Familiarity with standard Windows O/S and Office suites.
- Apple iOS knowledge
- Ability to thoroughly and accurately perform inventory and asset recording and complete paperwork as required by customer including vendor warranties.
- Ability to perform final configuration tasks on customer premise.
- 5 years experience with desktop/laptop hardware.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Valid drivers license.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Qualified candidates can expect an hourly range of $38.00$40.00 per hour.
Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local California area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
