Job Description

On behalf of Christiania Shipping MARPRO Group is seeking a talented Financial Controller to join the finance department in the Chemical Division reporting directly to the Chief Accounting and Reporting officer.
Christiania Shippings parent company Eitzen Group is a familyowned maritime organization headquartered in Oslo Norway currently employing over 80 staff and experiencing significant expansion. The job
We are seeking a detailoriented and proactive professional to manage the control of costs vessels projects and subsidiaries. In this role you will be part of internal optimization initiatives participate in monthend closing procedures to ensure regulatory compliance and support the team with tax filings reporting and data analysis. Additionally you will handle various ad hoc tasks assigned by management. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial and operational efficiency of our organization.
Professional qualifications
- Relevant financial/accounting education
- Handson experience in bookkeeping accounting and financial controlling
- Maritime experience and relevant accounting background an advantage though not mandatory
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Excel
- Familiar with DK GAAP and IFRS compliance requirements
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Eligible to work in Denmark
