Job Description

As Heartland Family Service continues to serve the most vulnerable individuals and families in our community we are looking for reliable adaptable and passionate therapists to help us engage and provide therapeutic services to people who have a history of or currently living with mental health and/or substance use needs.
A BIT ABOUT US
Founded in 1875 our agency has grown over the years to address most of the challenges children adults families and communities face across the lifespan including substance use child abuse and neglect domestic violence/sexual human trafficking homelessness juvenile justice mental health neighborhood distress and poverty. Today we offer 42 programs from 20 locations in east central Nebraska and southwest Iowa. THE OPPORTUNITY
Unique opportunity to earn supplemental income by being oncall to cover groups within Heartland Family Services. Ability to work in a group setting with a diverse population of clients with cooccurring disorders utilizing evidenced based practices.

Compensation: $25.00 per hour for Bachelors level CADC/IADC/PLADC/LADC; $35.00 per hour Provisionally Licensed; $45.00 per hour for Fully Licensed
Work Schedule: Per Diem as Needed Flexible Schedule
Locations: Council Bluffs Logan Glenwood Omaha Papillion
WHAT YOULL BRING
You could be perfect for this opportunity if youve had at least two years previous related experience and have attained a bachelors level CADC/IADC/PLADC/LADC or have a masters degree in Social Work or related field. Additionally preferred licensure includes: CADC PLADC LADC PLMHP LMHP LIMHP. We are looking for someone who can build strong rapport with diverse groups and who is exceptionally reliable organized detailedoriented and takes a trauma informed approach to engaging with clients. THE SKILL SET
Within 3 months youll:
- Complete onboarding program designed to get you up to speed on our business vision departments programming and team and gain an understanding about how your role fits into Heartland Family Services broader organization mission and strategy.
- Work with team and manager to understand work expectations and set goals for the first three months in the role
- Get to know our policies procedures and clinical tasks and processes
- Be introduced to and ramped to use Evolve (electronic health record).
- Shadow other team members to become comfortable leading groups on own
- Begin leading groups
