Skills Requirement
Mandatory skills Oracle Server administration required skills
- Expert with Oracle production support and monitoring in Linux environment.
- Familiarity with system monitoring using OEM.
- Experience with latest version of Oracle preferable 19c)
- Experience with production code migrations and change control.
- Good troubleshooting and issues resolution skills.
- Expert knowledge and experience of Oracle internals performance & tuning clustering partitioning.
- Expert knowledge and experience of SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience with Oracle data guard and standby environments.
- Expert knowledge and experience Oracle backup and recovery process using RMAN.
- Willing to take active participation in project works.
- Experience with Oracle RAC
- Familiar with PeopleSoft application (advantage)
- Willing to get crosstrained in other database technologies like MS SQL Server and MySQL and cloud RDS support.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools OEM and Zabbix.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow
- Automation skills Unix Shell Scripting and python is a good to have..
- ITIL v3 trained/certified.
- Excellent Communication skills both written and verbal
Good to have skills
- MSSQL/MySQL / PostgreSQL /Cloud RDS support.
- ITIL v3 Foundation Certified
- Oracle DBA certification
High Level Role Responsibilities and Interpersonal skills needed for this role
- Ability to think about a problem identify what we have and implement solutions to solve the problem independently
- Work with onsite client team / Application owners in US / UK.
- Should be flexible to work in 24/7 shifts Night and Weekend shifts.
- Excellent Communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to think in and out of the box.
- Selfmotivated conscientious dedicated individual who works equally well independently or as a member of a team
- Must be willing to take responsibility and ownership instead of waiting to be assigned work
- Must be willing to participate in follow the sun support for MSSQL Cloud technologies
- Enable and support the team in resolving daytoday production issues application upgrades and patches performance analysis disaster recovery implementation capacity planning and other activities as may be necessary.
- Work on Change implementations during UK US business hours & weekends as per change management process
- Available on call to drive major incident / outage resolutions.

Education & Experience Requirements
- Education Bachelor or higher degree.
- Willing to work in 24/7 rotation
- 58 years experience in working in IT services organization.
- At least 4 years of Oracle DBA experience in production support and monitoring in Linux environment.
- At least 3 years experience working in an environment where ITIL processes are implemented
- At least 3 years experience in working with UK / US clients.
- Excellent Documentations skills in MS SharePoint 2010 /2013/ 2016 / confluence
