Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the implementation deployment and maintenance of networks for a federal government customers distributed enterprise network environment supporting voice data and video services.
- Establish networking environment by managing system configuration installing systems documenting system architecture and adhering to network standards.
- Provide detailed information for hardware and software selection implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs including present and future capacity requirements.
- Configure install troubleshoot various network devices and services (e.g. routers switches firewalls VPN) LAN and WAN.
- Provide recommended patching and upgrades ensuring mitigation of noncompliant and vulnerable hardware and software.
- Analyze users Information Technology (IT) requirements concept of operations documents and highlevel system architectures.
- Validate system requirements and provide recommendations.
- Advise senior level customers on network architecture and optimization. Support enduser deployments via Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
