ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST (SONOGRAPHER)
(REGULAR PART TIME)
A regular part time Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) position is available within our Diagnostic Imaging Department at North Wellington Health Care.
This position has recently been unionized with OPSEU.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of a Canadian Accredited Ultrasound Training Program
- Current Membership with the CMRTO and proof of professional liability insurance
- Small parts general abdominal obstetrical experience
- NT (Nuchal Translucency) certification is preferred
- Vascular (Carotids etc. ABI exams and MSK Shoulders and Knees etc. experience is preferred or working towards
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with many and varied internal and external individuals groups and agencies
- Other duties as required
- Satisfactory performance and attendance required
- Satisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start date
- Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Must complete a PreEmployment Health Assessment prior to being hired
HOURS OF WORK:
- As per department schedule
- Must be available for all shifts
SALARY: $36.84 $51.77 per hour
