About the Role
Were seeking an Assembly Technician to build and test our revolutionary robotic systems. This is an exciting opportunity to apply handson manufacturing expertise to cuttingedge robotics technology. Were looking for detailoriented experienced robot technicians ready to parner closely with our production manager and the broader engineering team to improve operational efficiency and product manufacturability. This role is onsite at our manufacturing facility in Glen Cove NY. This is a first shift position (MondayFriday daytime hours).
In this role you will:
Assemble production robots according to specifications
Report quality and process issues to Production Supervisor
Maintain safe working environment following company and industry standards
Manage material handling and distribution to work stations
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
2 years experience in mass production environments
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Strong attention to detail
Effective communication skills
Ability to prioritize competing tasks
Collaborative team player
Preferred Qualifications
Associates or Bachelors degree
Experience in automotive aerospace industrial or electromechanical manufacturing
Machine shop equipment experience
OSHA knowledge
Programming skills
Compensation and Benefits:
This is a fulltime hourly position with a pay range of $30.00 to $36.00 per hour depending on experience. Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at Standard Bots. All fulltime employees are eligible for employee stock options. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off medical/dental/vision insurance life insurance disability insurance and 401(k).
